NATIONAL junior squash player Jason Rau-Khalil dominated the just concluded Guyana Badminton Association’s (GBA)/Woodpecker Products sponsored Junior Christmas tournament.

According to reports, Khalil won the boys under-19 tournament by defeating Avian Rodrigues in the final while Nicolas Ali placed third.

In the female under-19 category, Ashley Singh defeated Pricilla Moore to take the title while Ashley Khalil, another squash player, placed third.

In other results, Armand Rahaman defeated Shane Shewjattan to win the boys under-11 title while Ajave Singh finished third.

In the girls under-11 category Rebecca Lowe won the title ahead of Maya Persram and Priyanna Ramdhani respectively.

In the under-13 age group, Singh defeated Fabian Bainchini to win the boys title while Narayan Ramdhani placed third.

Lisa Persaud won the girls title ahead of Althea McDavid and Priyanna Ramdhani respectively.

In the under-15 age group, Andrew Peroune defeated Kevin Quaicoe to win the title while Narayan Ramdhani finished third.

In the girl’s category, Anuradha Odit won the title ahead of Priyana Ramdhani and Tashana Lowe respectively.

Narayan Ramdhani won the boys Under-17 title ahead of Nicholas Ali and Avian Rodrigues respectively, while on the distaff side, Pricilla Moore defeated Anissa Roberts to win the title. Third was Ashley Khalil.
