A fracas between two mobile music vendors over a popular CD at the Stabroek Market Square quickly turned violent yesterday, leaving one man seriously wounded.

The injured man was rushed by police to the Accident and Emergency Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital, with wounds to his head and hands, inflicted with a cutlass.

Police ranks quickly apprehended the aggressor, still armed with the cutlass, and whisked him away to the Brickdam Police Station.
