Part of the action in the final of the Guinness/GFA/MCYS/NSC Inter-Block/Club Futsal tournament played at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Saturday night. Uprising won by a 2-1 margin.

Former national midfielder Omali Nassey netted a double for the champions in the 26th and 28th minutes while Dwayne Layne pulled one back for Flamingo in the 27th minute.

In the third place play off, Fruta Conquerors trashed Pele 6-2 with the winning goals coming off the boots of Trevon Lycott in the 22nd and 25th minutes; Julyon Harry in the 9th minute; Sheldon Shepherd in the 12th minute; Paul Babb in the 18th minute and Odel Williams in the 19th minute.

Pele’s two goals were scored by Okenu Fraser in the 3rd minute and Solomon Austin in the 25th minute.
