Time for a government run Property Protection Service

IT is time for an editorial on pro-action versus reaction. Reports in the press, leaves one not knowing whether to laugh or cry. Dr. Ramsammy is right that security firms need to be penalised for things that happen “on their watch”. Why were they still working there if he had problems with Brans, including vehicles “tampered with” at night in the past while officers were on duty? What did Minister Robeson Benn do about his concerns with the standard and level and efficiency of the security being provided prior to the discovery of channa bombs at his Ministry? It is time for a government runs Property Protection Service or better Ministerial actions?
