POLICE have charged Floyd Webb, of 3277 Canal Place, South Ruimveldt Gardens, Georgetown, with causing the death of another man by dangerous driving.

The man was slapped with the charge following police investigations into the September 17, 2008, incident at Novar, Mahaicony.

Webb is alleged to have caused the death of Ramgopaul Persaud, 44, of Novar, who was struck down and killed by a minibus driven by the accused.

Webb’s driver’s licence has also been suspended pending the outcome of the court case.
