POLICE yesterday seized a 40hp outboard motor engine, a quantity of seine and a 25″ fibre glass boat during a number of raids on the East Coast of Demerara.

The items, police said, are all suspected to have been stolen.

Additional investigations led to a search on another building on the East Coast where an unlicensed 12 gauge shotgun was found and two men were arrested.
They are presently in police custody assisting with the investigations.
