Twenty three ranks, including six members of the Guyana Police Force, successfully completed the Arms Instructors Course 2017-01, which concluded recently at Base Camp Stephenson, Timehri.
Sergeant Ralph Osborne of the Training Corps was adjudged the Best Graduating Student of the skill course. Sergeant Adesini Benjamin also of Training Corps received the Runner- Up prize.

The course is intended to equip students with the necessary skills to plan, conduct, and supervise Live Firing and Live Grenade throwing, in accordance with the GDF Shooting Policy and Pamphlet No. 21 Regulations for Planning, Conduct and supervision of training with Infantry Weapons Systems and Pyrotechnics.
