Any building after construction sells for more than its cost

CHRISTOPHER Ram, well known columnist, Attorney- at- law, and above all else, vehement critic of the PPP/C government, has written and attacked the administration on almost every issue that has ever been current, especially since the early beginning of the Millennium.
A particular observation of Ram’s many pieces is that the government has never done anything worthy of praise or commendation. In fact, he has levelled accusations of every perceived ill against it. But one does not need to reiterate which side of the political fence he is on; for it is only too obvious.

As would be expected, he has been in the front line of chorus leaders, bashing the construction of the Marriot project. For him, like all the other critics – the initiative is not in the best interests of the nation. Now, his latest take is that “Any buyer of Marriot will have to pay far more that US$51M”, according to a caption in the Kaieteur News.
Without attempting to arrogate any expertise at selling of commercial entities of any scale, it is quite obvious that any building after its construction, given all the financial inputs and total cost, will sell for more. It is plain common sense and logic.
Would not Ram do the same, if it were his entity? We all know the answer.
