A MAN has been charged with the murder of Victor Persaud last Easter Monday.

The accused, Ramchand Persaud called ‘Hunter’ and ‘Boyo’, 23, of Lot 319 Grassfield, Lusignan, appeared before Magistrate Sherdel Issacs-Marcus, at Vigilance Court, also on East Coast Demerara.

The unlawful killing of the 52-year-old took place at Lusignan following an argument between him and another man about 02:00 h.

The one facing the charge for the capital offence was remanded to prison until May 15.
