WORK is progressing rapidly in Kwakwani, Region 10, as significant infrastructure works continue under a $1.6 billion housing investment, according to Minister of Housing Collin Croal.

According to information from Croal, the new 99-acre housing scheme is taking shape, with contractors actively working on laterite and crush-and-run roads, as well as installing an essential pipe network.
“With 352 residential plots being developed, this project will offer housing opportunities for over 300 families, directly meeting the growing demand in Region 10, and promoting sustainable community growth across Guyana,” Minister Croal said.
