The National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA) has begun
desilting the Commerce Street outfall channel in Georgetown.
Soon, dredging will also be carried out on the outfall channels at
Cowan, Church, Princess and Sussex Streets, as well as
in La Penitence, South Ruimveldt, North Ruimveldt and Rome
