THE Success Community Centre Ground was abuzz with laughter, competition, and camaraderie as Regional Division 4 ‘C’ (East Coast Demerara), in partnership with the Success Community Policing Group, hosted a vibrant Sports and Fun Day over the weekend.

The event, designed to strengthen bonds between the police and residents, attracted a large turnout of community members of all ages.
From spirited cricket matches to playful novelty games, the day served as a reminder of the power of community engagement in fostering trust and unity.
One of the main highlights was the lively cricket competition, which saw teams competing in a display of teamwork, sportsmanship, and local talent.

The excitement continued with a series of crowd-pleasing novelty events, including bun-eating contests, lime-and-spoon races, bag races, and three-legged races that had both participants and spectators cheering and laughing throughout the day.

Children enjoyed their time on a trampoline set up just for them, while food and refreshments flowed throughout the event, ensuring everyone remained energised and hydrated.
