Motorcyclist, 20, dies in Windsor Forest incident

POLICE are investigating a fatal incident which occurred at about 04:00hrs on Sunday on the public road at Windsor Forest, West Coast Demerara, which resulted in the death of 20-year-old motorcyclist Brandon Henry.

Henry, of Lot 268 Crane Housing Scheme, West Coast Demerara, was in control of motorcycle #CM 6508 at the time.

According to the police, enquiries disclosed that the motorcyclist was proceeding west along the southern lane of the road at a fast rate when he lost control of his motorcycle and ended up on the parapet, colliding with a GPL pole at the side of the road.

He was picked up in an unconscious state by public-spirited persons, and taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital, where he was seen and examined by a doctor on duty who pronounced dead on arrival.

The body is at the Ezekiel Mortuary, awaiting a post-mortem examination.
