THE Buxton Community Ground is the place to be on November 4 when the annual Miss East Coast Beauty with A Mission Pageant is held.

Not only will a new queen be crowned, but the nine delegates will get an equal opportunity to win over $2million in cash and prizes.

Those competing are: Sueann Smith Holder whose platform is natural beauty and body positivity; Sasha Maxwell whose platform is traumatic effects of molestation on the psychosocial development of children; Kayla Tilbury whose platform is raising awareness about the prevalence of mental health illnesses; Qweiasha Sealy whose platform focuses on re-integrating adolescent mothers into the school system; Abeke Lewis whose platform is empowering lives through music; Diamond Williams whose platform is mentorship to assist females experiencing domestic violence; Olivia Stephens whose platform is cultural diversity; Shadiamond Assanah whose focus is tackling unemployment amongst Guyanese youth and Aleciea Morrison whose platform is poverty.

Voting for the People’s Choice Award ends on November 3. Early bird tickets are available up to today for $2000. General admission tickets are $3000 and VIP tickets cost $5000.
