COLIN Kendall (no address given) has been charged with breaking and entering the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) building.
He appeared before Magistrate Allan Wilson on the indictable charge yesterday, accused of having committed the offence between February 1 and 4, when he broke and entered the place and stole one computer monitor and a printer among other booty valued a total of $300,000.
Police Corporal Seon Blackman, prosecuting, said Kendall and two other men were seen on a surveillance camera removing the articles.
The prosecutor successfully objected to bail, based on the seriousness of the crime the likelihood of the accused not returning to court if he secured the grant, as he gave the police no address.
The case was put off to February 20.
