Amelia’s Ward cycle race meet, another success

… paves way for Int’l meet in Linden

THE Roraima Bikers and Kashif and Shanghai Organisation’s ‘Linden versus the Rest’ cycling extravaganza at the Amelia’s Ward Circuit in Linden on Sunday was another successful venture which now paves the way for an International Cycling Classic, tentatively set for September 13, at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground.

Some 14 events were held at the Amelia’s Ward Circuit where the turnout was heartening and the organisers have decided that a much bigger event is worthy of the Linden support, hence the intention to bring international cycling to the mining town.
