IN Daniel’s den the lion sleeps tonight. There is justice for the poor, brotherly love is preached, swords are turned into plowshares, and the wolf and the lamb are feeding together. But the trapper sees this as a hindrance to human progress. For him, this is a dangerous precedent since the snares for the lambs have been set and there are those that cry sport.
He cries in the hallow canyon where his voice echoes as many to debunk Daniel’s philosophy, yet offering nothing constructive to ease the plight and woes of mankind in the concrete jungle of human existence. His knowledge of the species has understandably left him void. He frantically tries to awaken the lion, but the lion sleeps tonight for the Lion of the Tribe of Judah is King in Daniel’s den.
