… Hemraj, Reifer, Rutherford back for third round
GUYANA Jaguars, the national first-class side regrouped yesterday for a training session at the Everest Cricket Club ground following their 10-day break after returning home from Antigua.

The Jaguars currently sit atop the points table with 37 points from two wins in the 2018/2019 CWI Professional Cricket League (PCL) tournament, whipping Windward Islands Volcanoes by 125 runs before completing a nine-wicket win over the Leeward Islands Hurricanes.
Barbados Pride with one win sit on 22.6 points, Hurricanes (22.2), Volcanoes (21.4), Jamaica Scorpions (5) and Trinidad and Tobago Red Force (4.4) points respectively.
Meanwhile, batsman Chandrapaul Hemraj and all-rounders Sherfane Rutherford and Raymon Reifer have been named in the 13-man squad for the top-of-the table battle at the Kensington Oval from Thursday, January 3.
Opener Trevon Griffith, wicketkeeper Tevin Imlach and all-rounder Akshaya Persaud were omitted.
According to the Guyana Cricket Board, “Keemo Paul injured his finger during the last match in Bangladesh, while Devendra Bishoo was still in the USA at the time of selection and Shimron Hetmyer has requested to be rested.”
