A CHARLESTOWN, Georgetown resident was on Monday found dead by his father in their home.
He was identified as 33-year-old Ceon Barry of Adelaide Street, Charlestown. His father, Leroy Barry, related that he awoke around 06:00hrs and called out to his son in the room where he slept, before going out.
Barry said he returned around 09:00hrs and made several calls to his son but got no answer. Upon checking in the room, he told investigators that he noticed “blood clot stains” on the bed and his son’s motionless body. He subsequently reported the matter to the police.
The police, when contacted by this newspaper, said that there were no marks of violence on the body which was taken to the Lyken Funeral Parlour to await a post-mortem examination. Investigations are ongoing.
