CORNELIUS BLACK, 20, was granted $100,000 bail yesterday when he appeared before Magistrate Nyasha Williams-Hatmin, at Vreed-en-Hoop Court, West Coast Demerara, on a robbery charge.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said, on March 16, about 22:30 hrs, at Bagotville, West Bank Demerara, he robbed Enrick Thomas of a cellular phone and a gold chain, valued a total of $20,000.
Black has to be back in court on April 8.
