-SOL launches Christmas Promotion

SOL Guyana Inc. launched its Christmas Promotion called “Win Christmas cash and groceries,” in which customers can win a grand prize of $500,000 alongside numerous weekly prizes and giveaways.

At the launch held on Monday at the Shell gas station on Regent and King Streets, Retail Sales Executive of SOL Guyana Inc., Renee Armstrong disclosed that the promotion will continue for 10 weeks until January 20.

Sol Inc., the licensed operator of the Shell Service Stations, has remained committed to giving back to its customers who supported the company throughout the year, Armstrong said. “Christmas for us, is a time for giving back, and for our customers it’s their time to stock up with cash and groceries, which happen to be two of the main ingredients of a very merry Guyanese Christmas.”

On the promotion’s end in January, there will be a grand drawing where customers will be able to win the grand prize of $500,000, then second and third place prizes of $300,000 and $200,000. Weekly drawings of a $100,000 shopping spree at any selected supermarket and giveaways of kitchen appliances will also be done.

To be eligible for any of the giveaways, customers must purchase at least $3,000 in Shell V-Power or Shell Diesel. Additionally, persons who spend $5,000 or more in fuel will be able to win up to $100,000 in the ‘Cash Machine’ during weekly happy hours. During yesterday’s launch, one lucky customer, Vickash Panday, was able to score a trip into the cash machine where he managed to grab $15,500.
