RRT Enterprise Rapid Chess Tournament…
IN a show of gesture, Guyana Chess Federation (GCF) organized RRT Enterprise sponsored Rapid Chess champion Pierre Boucher donated his earnings to the GCF after copping the first place in the senior category of the one day tournament which was held at the Keishar’s Sports Club, Hadfield Street last Saturday. Boucher finished with 6.5 points, while Irshad Mohamad claimed second with 5.5 points and Frankie Farley secured third place with 4.5 points.
The junior category’s first place was taken by Suhai Feng who scored 4.5 points, while Rashad Hussain grabbed second place, Saeed Ali took third and Raan Motilall fourth.
The presentation followed shortly after, with RRT Enterprise Managing Director, Sean Ramrattan presenting the trophies and monetary prizes to the outstanding performers of the tournament.
