The “Coolie Bully” was last in competition on May 12, 2015, when he faced San Juan, Puerto Rico’s Miguel Robles Rico’s, knocking him out at 2:46 in round three of four scheduled rounds.
The Guyanese, who trains out of Brooklyn, New York, will return home to face Panama’s Israel Hidrogo in a 10-round bantamweight contest as the headline bout for the local board’s season- opening bout.
The fight will be a warm- up for the “Coolie Bully” who will be in competition again on the 21st of May in a British Commonwealth title fight.
That fight will also happen in Guyana.
Dharry’s encounter is one of five action-packed fights that are on the cards for the event, with the evening’s slug fest to be opened by a female bout.
Mandessa Moses will take on Ansilla Norville in a four- round bantamweight contest, while in the second fight, Imran “Magic” Khan takes on Quincy Gomes in a six- round lightweight affair.
The action will continue when Revlon Lake meets Barbadian Miguel Antione in the squared circle over eight rounds for their welterweight battle, while Dexter Marques and Freddie Beleno of Venezuela will hype the crowd with a 10-round flyweight battle.
Tickets start at $3000 dollars for outer ringside and $5000 for ringside.
