POLICE on Wednesday night came under fire when they visited a home at Powis Landing area, Five Star Backdam in the North West District following a report that armed men were there.According to a release, the police returned fire and the men ran out of the building and made good their escape.

The premises were searched and 550 grams of marijuana and 40 grams of suspected cocaine were found. Investigations are in progress, the release said.
