IN its appointed role as organizer of events in observance of occasions of national significance The Federation of Guyanese Nationals (UK) in collaboration with The Caribbean Domino and Social Organisation held a Mashramani dance at The Tottenham Green Leisure Centre, London, on Saturday 27th February in celebration of the fortieth anniversary of Guyana attaining Republic status. The event was graced by Guyana’s High Commissioner to UK, Mr. Laleshwar Singh, and Mrs. Singh.
MoneyGram and Mike Harrison Shipping sponsored the event which gave Guyanese nationals in North London the opportunity to be involved in the celebrations and they were certainly not disappointed as the turnout was a resounding success.
