SAINT Lucia Kings have announced the addition of Guyanese wicketkeeper/batter Kemol Savory to the squad for the remainder of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL T20) season.
Savory joins the Kings as a replacement for Ackeem Auguste, who was recently ruled out of the tournament due to medical reasons.
“The Guyanese wicketkeeper-batsman brings valuable experience and further strengthens the Kings’ batting and wicketkeeping options as the team continues its campaign,” the franchise said in a statement on Saturday.
“The Saint Lucia Kings welcome Kemol to the Kings family and look forward to his contribution both on and off the field. The franchise also continues to extend its best wishes to Ackeem and looks forward to seeing him back in action when he is fully recovered.”
Savory had previously been picked up by Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, but he is yet to make his CPL debut.
