Revon Williams finished sixth in his men’s 400-metre heat with a time of 48.25 seconds, which put him out of the running for a semi-final spot.
In other races, Shamar Horatio secured second-place in his heat with a time of 20.83 but missed out on a semi-final spot due to time, as the last qualifier registered a time of 20.79 seconds.
