Registrar of Deeds at the Deeds Registry, Zanna Frank

THE Judicial Service Commission has appointed Zanna Frank as Registrar of Deeds at the Deeds Registry, effective July 1, 2026, the Commission announced in a press release issued Tuesday.
Frank steps into the role after serving as Deputy Registrar of Deeds at the same institution since 2016, a position she held for a decade before her promotion.
A trained attorney, Frank earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Guyana in 2012 and went on to complete her Legal Education Certificate at the Hugh Wooding Law School in 2014. Her academic credentials extend beyond the courtroom: she holds a Diploma in Public Management dating back to 2007, and more recently completed a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration in 2023.
That blend of legal training and public administration expertise is expected to inform her leadership of the Deeds Registry, an office responsible for the recording and safekeeping of property and legal deeds across Guyana.
