THE People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) continues to engage directly with citizens, as Vice President, Dr Bharrat Jagdeo will hold another major public-day event at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre (ACCC), on Monday.
He and other Cabinet members will meet directly with the public starting at 10:00hrs.
This initiative is part of the PPP/C administration’s ongoing effort to engage with citizens face to face and address issues related to housing, social services, the National Insurance Scheme (NIS), and employment, among other things.
Previous public days have drawn hundreds of Guyanese. They take advantage of the open format to seek help or advice on various issues from multiple ministries in one location.
Monday’s event continues a trend of direct outreach by the PPP/C government.
They have also been conducting Cabinet-led regional engagements, where residents raise personal and community concerns with senior officials.
