The body of 16-year-old Arif Azeez, of Lot 28 Adventure, who was feared drowned, has been recovered following a tragic incident on Monday at Hot and Cold Lake, Sand Pit/Red Village, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam).

Azeez, a student of Al Madina Academy, had reportedly visited the location with friends for a recreational jet skiing outing. Reports indicate that his jet ski ran low on fuel before he was seen falling into the water.

A search operation involving relatives, friends, and community members was launched shortly after he went missing. His body was subsequently discovered on Tuesday morning.

Investigations are currently ongoing.
