GMSA, AMCHAM to host Tech Conference 2026

THE Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA), alongside the American Chamber of Commerce of Guyana (AMCHAM), will be hosting the third Tech Conference, under the theme “Operational Excellence Through Digital Transformation,” at the Georgetown Marriott Hotel, Kingston.
As Guyana steps into a digital era, the conference aims to equip entrepreneurs, students and anyone interested in digital transformation and technological advancement, with the necessary tools and strategies needed to operate in a safe and competitive digital economy.
Come January 29, 2026, these persons can attend the conference that is aimed at providing a platform where businesses, experts, private sector and government can connect and see what is possible when they come together.
Noting that feedback thus far has been tremendous, the Executive Director of the GMSA, Govindra Raghubansi, said this event is directly in tandem with the development agenda of the government to digitise public services.
Recognising that many businesses have not become digitised or have not utilised Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) services and other tools to make their work easier, Raghubansi highlighted that the goals of the conference are not only to promote digital adoption but to strengthen operational capabilities and showcase practical transformation pathways.
AMCHAM’s role in all of this is to bring international credence to the conference, linking locals with international companies.
“So, they’re bringing the international tech and we are going to be having mostly, in our membership at the GMSA, the local members. So, between the two, we’re seeing synergies here between international companies and local companies. Specifically, AMCHAM, as you know, would be more American-based companies,” he explained.
Raghubansi noted that collectively, the GMSA and AMCHAM have a total of 500 members between them.
Alongside networking opportunities, attendees can expect insightful presentations, practical sessions and meaningful discussions led by local and international experts.
In addition to AMCHAM, he mentioned that while there are still sponsors coming in, they have engaged major banks, all main cellular and service providers and every major player in the technology and manufacturing sector.
Tickets for this go for $1,000 for University Students, $3,000 for AMCHAM/ GMSA members, $5,000 for non-members, and $3,000 for companies with five or more employees attending the conference. These can be purchased online or from the GMSA or AMCHAM offices.
