GBBFF launches Mr. Guyana 2025…- Over 30 registered already to compete on Sunday at NCC

THE Guyana Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation on Sunday launched its Senior National Bodybuilding Championship at Olympic House, Liliendaal.
The senior championship, dubbed Mr Guyana, is set for Sunday December 21st at the National Cultural Centre.
The competition is set to see the ultimate battle of strength, power, and physique as Guyana’s top athletes go head-to-head for the prestigious Mr. Guyana title.
President of the Guyana Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation Roger Callender says a number of local athletes are already registered.
“All the athletes are pumped and ready for this year’s clash of the titans ‘Mr Guyana 2025.’ It is set to be one of the best Mr Guyana we ever had, we have an amazing trophy that we are giving out to the top athlete. We have over 30 athletes currently, so at the final registration day which is the weigh-in day on the 20th of December then we will have a final total of how many athletes, it is looking like we might have over 35 to 40 athletes,” the GBBFF boss said.

He also outlined the monetary prizes they are set to payout to winners, adding, “We are giving out $300,000 to the Mr Guyana champion, we have bikini overall $200,000 and Mr physique overall $200,000 along with other incentives to be given out by different sponsors with some surprises in store for athletes.”

New categories this year are Fit Model categories for both male and female, and the Kids Fitness categories.
The other categories are Men’s Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, Women’s Bikini, Women’s Wellness, Men’s Fitness as well as Masters and Junior categories.
Interested athletes can register at Space Gym 2.0, Fitness Express and Unity Gym.
Admission to the event is $2,500.
