IN a powerful display of patriotism ahead of Guyana’s 59th Independence Anniversary today, scores gathered at Anna Regina on Sunday with Minister Sonia Parag to form a living map of Guyana, boldly declaring that Essequibo belongs to Guyana, and only to Guyana!

Voices rang out with national songs and messages of unity, as Guyanese from across the country and beyond stood firm in defense of our territorial integrity.
