A 39-year-old labourer from Smithfield, New Amsterdam, has been remanded to prison following a charge of murder in connection with the death of Leon Fordyce, known as “Nastyman.”
The accused, Eubeern Bristol, also called “Eusie,” appeared before Magistrate Michelle Mathias at the Albion Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, where the charge of murder contrary to common law was formally read to him. Bristol was not required to plead and was remanded to prison.
The charge follows the fatal incident that occurred on May 4, 2025, at High Dam, Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam. Bristol was arrested on May 8 by the police and later charged on May 13, 2025.
The matter has been postponed to June 9, 2025, for the disclosure of statements and for fixture.
