THE Ministry of Education (MoE) on Monday launched a thrilling educational initiative, which will benefit students from various schools across the country.
The ministry’s summer camp programme promises to be an enriching experience for all participants, focusing this year on the exciting theme, “Setting Sail in the Digital Universe”.
On its official Facebook page, the ministry said that students hailing from Queen’s College, St. Joseph’s, Bygeval Secondary, Mahaicony Secondary, Richard Ishmael Secondary, Mahaica Children’s Home, Kingston Secondary, and Bladen Hall Secondary among other schools have eagerly gathered for this unique opportunity.
“The students are currently engaged in the camp, which is centered around the fields of sports, music and TVET.
“These activities provide a well-rounded experience, fostering both intellectual growth and personal development in a supportive environment,” the ministry said.
It added that the ministry’s initiative underscores its commitment to equipping students with essential skills for the digital age, while nurturing their broader interests and talents.
By bridging the gap between theory and practical application, the aim of the summer camp is to empower participants to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape.
