GTT Business Solutions rebrands to ‘Brava’

–company to further expand its regional reach

GTT, a telecommunications company that has been operating in Guyana for a significant period of time disclosed its plans for expanding its regional reach. As part of this expansion, the company has rebranded its Business Solutions division as ‘Brava’.
On Wednesday, this announcement was made during the ongoing Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo.

Richard Stanton, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at GTT, explained that this decision was based on customer feedback from the previous year’s energy conference. The aim is to simplify business services not just in Guyana but throughout the entire region.

With this connection, he said that they now have locations across the Caribbean and Latin America.
“We have a regional presence… what we have done now for business is where you only need to speak to one set of people, so if you’ve got a Pan Caribbean or Pan American business, now, as a company we can do everything for you all in one place, that’s what we have done,” the Deputy CEO said.

Furthermore, he stated that Brava is still a subsidiary of GTT, but the company has expanded its capabilities to operate in the Caribbean and the Americas.
Meanwhile, the CEO of Brava, Conor McGowan, stated that the Brava operations here in Guyana will be led by Chief Operations Officer, Orson Ferguson who now also joins Brava’s ’s regional leadership team.

Giving a breakdown of what the company does, he said, “So what Brava is it’s a next-generation solutions provider. So, over the last 10 years, we have spent over US$200 million on fibre investments, on investments in our mobile network and what Brava represents is the evolution of that and the services that we want to provide on top of that network.”

McGowan further explained that Brava is a dedicated business division with strong regional support, aiming to cater to the diverse needs of the local business community.
Meanwhile, the CEO of the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo, Kurt Baboolall, noted, during his remarks, that he is happy to see that the energy conference has the ability to bring together stakeholders in this way.

“We are happy about that, they (GTT) have been one of the longest-standing companies here in Guyana and they are evolving and transforming and modernising and that’s what our theme is this year,” Baboolall said.
