ON Saturday, Minister of Housing and Water, Collin Croal, officially handed over a new bus and ambulance to the community of Matthews Ridge, Region One during an outreach.

In addition to the transportation, a new football and basketball surface was also commissioned at the Community Centre ground. The community also received basketball, football, and cricket gear, along with brush cutters and a pressure washer to facilitate the maintenance of their recreational facility.

Minister Croal emphasised that the government is committed to enhancing the lives of its citizens, and the developments in Matthews Ridge stand as testament to this commitment.

Acknowledging the rapid progress in Matthews Ridge, he assured continued support for the once-neglected community.

He was accompanied by Regional Chairman, Brentnol Ashley and Deputy Regional Executive Officer, Shem Cuffy. (DPI)
