Women’s Army Corps holds vigil in remembrance of Mahdia victims

Members of the Women's Army Corps (WAC), Thursday evening, paid tribute to the victims of the Mahdia tragedy, with a small candle light vigil.

The women assembled at the site set up near the Umana Yana where they prayed for the souls of the 18 teenagers and one boy who perished in the fire which occurred in the wee hours of Monday last.

The members of the Corps join with the many organisations and groups across the country, in extending sincere condolences to the families and friends of the deceased
