‘Prelim’ CSEC, CAPE results for Sept. 5 release

THE preliminary results for the 2022 Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE) are scheduled to be released on September 5.
According to a statement on Thursday from the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), the administering body has been working assiduously to complete the marking and grading process for the timely release of this year’s examination results.

“Consistent with the announced schedule for release during the last week of August, or the first week of September, preliminary results for the CAPE, CSEC and Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence (CCSLC) will be released in St. Lucia on Monday, 5 September, 2022,” the examinations body said.

Once released, candidates will be able to access their respective preliminary results, Online at https://www.cxc.org/student-results.
The Ministries of Education across the region will receive those results on September 1, in order to review and provide feedback, as necessary, in preparation for a joint meeting of the ministries on September 2.

“In instances where requests for early release of results were made, preliminary results will also be made available to universities at the same time as the Ministries of Education to facilitate the matriculation of candidates,” CXC noted.

The CSEC and CAPE examinations are considered critical in the academic pursuit of students, as it is used to gain entry into colleges and universities.
