ACE Guyanese boxer Elton Dharry, who is expected to step into the ring next month, met with Prime Minister Mark Phillips yesterday afternoon at his office on Camp Street.
The US-based Dharry, who suffered a debatable loss against Andrew Moloney in November of 2019, is carded to fight the undefeated Orlando Penalba from Panama.
The bout is set for April 23.
At yesterday’s meeting, Dharry was joined by the Guyana Boxing Board of Control president, Peter Abdool, and several other officials.
