PRIME Minister, Brigadier (Ret’d), Mark Phillips, who is performing the functions of President, on Friday visited the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) at Thomas Lands, where he inspected the construction of a new administrative complex attached to the existing building.
The senior government official also used the opportunity to assess the current operations at the older facility and interact with employees. It is expected that the staff will soon occupy the new building.
The Prime Minister’s visit was facilitated by the Director-General of the Civil Defence Commission (CDC), Lieutenant Colonel, Kester Craig.
Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister, Derrick Cummings, was also present.
