HAILING from the “land of the flying fish”, Barbadian attorney, Mohsin Nana, has been admitted to the bar in Guyana, making him eligible to practise in the local courts.
The 25-year-old’s petition was presented by attorney at law Nikhil Ramkarran, to Justice Jo-Ann Barlow, on Thursday, in the Demerara High Court.
The Barbadian was born on November 7, 1995, and attended the Wesley Hall Primary School and then Harrison College.
In 2014, he enrolled at the University of the West Indies where he later obtained his Bachelor in Laws Degree.
While attending university, Nana competed in the inaugural Caribbean-China International Law Moot Court competition and won an award.
In 2017, Nana went on to further his studies at the Hugh Wooding Law School where he obtained his legal education certificate in November 2020.
While attending law school, Nana did his in-service training at the Blackstone Legal Company. Nana specialises in corporate, commercial and maritime law.
