Wine, crab meat, and karaoke is on the itinerary for Sunday

The West Demerara District seems to be gripped in an anticipated frenzy, as folks there prepare to indulge in the first ever, ‘Guinness Crab Fest’ which is slated for Felisha’s Licious Grill located at Lot 14 Anna Catherina, West Coast Demerara.
This new and breezy entertainment hotspot recently caught our attention for its uniqueness, as it offers a plethora of innovative and intriguing concepts, including the option of grilling our own food! Inspired by their lives in St. Maarten, proprietors of the new barbeque joint, Felisha and George Semple have installed grills in the middle of some of the tables.
After months of bringing us scrumptious meats and soothingly chilled drinks, the couple is now gearing up for its crab festival which is expected to feature crab cooked “in every style and fashion.”

Crab Fest will feature a number of unique and succulent crab dishes

The event, slated for Sunday at 13:00hrs, will provide foodies and all crab lovers with varied options of succulent crab dishes, from the ‘cassareep crab’ and ‘grilled crabbie explosion’ to ‘fantasia roasted crab’ and ‘baked crabbie delights.’ Drooling yet? Well, it doesn’t end there, as Felisha’s has promised to dish out some its signature crab specials such as the ‘crab intrigue’ and its traditional ‘bun suga crab’, and so much more. Added to that, the Semples tell us that Crab Fest will also afford us the opportunity to grill our own crabs and crab meats, as a means of ensuring that it is cooked to our individual perfection.

Even with all the COVID-19 protocols in effect, Felisha and George Semple are looking to entice a good turnout by offering a number of giveaways, featuring some exciting prizes, including gifts for most captivating crew as well as a special prize for the ‘Jovial Big Spenders.’ The couple has asked that we join them this weekend for grilled goodies and tingling drinks, enjoyed in a vibrant, spacious, and stimulating atmosphere. Even more intriguing, is that there will be karaoke! Going forward, the Semples are looking to host a number of other fascinating events such as live acrobatic shows, a vocal talent search, a westside dancehall queen contest, and a curry duck cook off and showdown competition. We looking forward to it all.
