TOOLSIE Persaud Limited (TPL)on Monday donated cleaning detergents, hand sanitisers, drinking water, feminine hygiene and baby care products to the Guyana Civil Defence Commission (CDC) to bring much-needed relief to those residents affected by flooding in Guyana.
At the handing over, TPL General Manager Ray Sukhnandan noted that it is the company’s corporate social responsibility to assist the people of Guyana in the flood- affected regions. He expressed gratitude at being able to offer assistance at this difficult time in the country.
The flooding in Guyana has been classified as a Level 2 Disaster by the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA).
