Everyone can’t be in your FRONT ROW!

THERE are many advantages to sitting in front, whether at school, at a conference, at a fashion show, football, basketball game etc.  Students occupying the front rows are more attentive than those in the back, which can give an advantage. Have you ever looked at one of the NBA playoffs and noticed many Hollywood superstars in the courtside seats? Front row seats are super expensive and are always in demand.

I have had many productions over the years and we always reserve the front row, which represents premium seating. These seats were reserved for sponsors, the media, well-known personalities and others who supported the production for it to be a success.

Let’s go to our lives now, reflect. Who is in your front row? Remember, there is left right and centre front and all positions have a significance.  I wrote about this in my first book” Living with Intention” and received many messages regarding this topic. I had had people tell me that they omitted people from their circle after careful examination. Sometimes it could be difficult to shift family members, but if you desire to go to the next you have to. It is difficult when we realise that not everyone will be taking this journey with us.
Not everyone is healthy enough to have a front-row seat in our lives. Some people in your life need to be loved from a distance.
The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you…the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the front row and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.

Allow people with such dreams and desires as yours in your front row. Positive people who can inspire and support you in your endeavours; people who can hold you accountable; guide you or encourage you when you are going astray; help to keep you focused; people who also have set high goals.
It was a reality check for me years ago when I had to shift some people from my front row to the balcony. In some instances, the balcony was full and I no longer had any place in my life for that person.
I saw this amazing poem by an unknown author and I believe the content will bless someone.

Everyone can’t be in Your FRONT ROW
Life is a theatre, so invite your audiences carefully. Not everyone is holy enough and healthy enough to have a FRONT ROW seat in our lives.
Some people in your life need to be loved from a distance.

It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you let go, or at least minimise your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere relationships, friendships, fellowships and family!
Everyone Can’t be in Your FRONT ROW.

Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention to:
Which ones lift and which ones lean?
Which ones encourage and which ones discourage?
Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are just going downhill?

When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse?
Which ones always have drama or don’t really understand, know and appreciate you and the gift that lies within you?
Everyone Can’t be in Your FRONT ROW.

The more you seek God and the things of God, the more you seek quality; the more you seek not just the hand of God, but the face of God, the more you seek things honourable, the more you seek growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you; the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.
Everyone Can’t be in Your FRONT ROW.

You cannot change the people around you…but you can change the people you are around!
Ask God for wisdom and discernment and choose wisely the people who sit in the FRONT ROW of your life.

Remember that FRONT-ROW seats are for special and deserving people and those who sit in your FRONT ROW should be chosen carefully.
Everyone Can’t be in Your FRONT ROW

I have attended many events and had front row seats and did enjoy the privilege, but the ones with the most satisfaction are ones with the front row seat to someone’s life journey. It is a huge blessing that I occupy a front-row seat to some many lives. I must be doing a few things right.
We are still in the first quarter of the year and have awesome plans for 2021. An opportune time for cleaning of your circle as we continue to celebrate this beautiful journey called life BEYOND THE RUNWAY.
