THE Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) hosted a successful endurance track day with competitors all lauding the return to track.
While the club has postponed the release of results pending a review of the timing system, GMR&SC president Rameez Mohamed contended that the event was successful.
“I must commend the new drivers. They did well; there were no incidents on day and we were able to run off a good event,” he added.
He added that a timing issue has to be rectified before they can release the official results.
“We have an issue with a few drivers who protested the results and we realized a fault in the timing system,” Mohamed added.
The results will be released in the week with presentations to also be announced.
