A 19-year-old resident of Best Village squatting area, West Coast Demerara, was, on Tuesday, remanded to prison on two counts of attempted murder.
Richardo Orlando Persaud appeared before Magistrate Crystal Lambert at the Vreed-en-Hoop Magistrate’s Court and was not required to plead to the charges.
Particulars of the charges alleged that, on January 30, at Lot 133 Best Village, he wounded Shemiza Persaud and Harry Persaud with the intent to commit murder.
Magistrate Lambert remanded the teen to prison until February 22.
