carrying the illegal drugs.
When the ranks searched him, with his permission, the drugs were not found on his person, but rather in a bulky, black plastic bag he was holding in his right hand.
One of the ranks, upon opening the bag in Brooks’ presence, found a quantity of leaves, seeds, and stems of what appeared to be cannabis.
Brooks reportedly told the police, under caution: “Sir, is just a hustle; I dropping it for a man.”
He was immediately arrested and escorted to the Vreed-en-Hoop Police Station, where the drugs were weighed in his presence, and he remains in custody, pending charges.
