Guyana is a real place to be. I therefore wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year,” De Silva said.

Meanwhile, Regional Vice-Chairman, Humace Odit, extended Christmas greetings to everyone present. He emphasised that it was a joyous occasion and he later wished everyone well for the season and told them to remember to take care of their health. Regional Executive Officer, Devanand Ramdatt, congratulated the staff for organising the programme. Ramdatt took note of the staff’s supportive disposition and said that Region Two can be an example of what unity is.
