POLICE are investigating the alleged suicide of an eight-year-old boy of South Amelia’s Ward, Linden.
Enquiries disclosed that the lad was discovered missing from his room around 17:30 hours on Tuesday. He was later discovered hanging in the yard near a pig pen.
He was taken to the Linden Hospital Complex, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The body is presently in the hospital’s mortuary awaiting a post-mortem.
Investigations are ongoing.
